These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of accommodation services ("Services") by the property owner ("Owner") to the guest(s) ("Guest") seeking accommodation. By submitting an offer of accommodation or using the Services, the Guest agrees to be bound by these Terms.
Terms & Conditions
1.Booking and Reservation:
·All bookings are subject to availability.
·Minimum stay of 2 nights required. Long weekends and Public holidays minimum 3 night stay.
·The Guest must provide accurate and complete information during the booking process.
·A reservation is confirmed only upon receipt of the required 50% deposit and occupation on receipt of full payment or as otherwise agreed upon with the Owner.
·The Guest agrees to pay the total amount due as per the booking quotation. A 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.
·Payment methods accepted shall be specified by the Owner on the quotation.
·Any additional charges incurred during the stay need to be settled promptly.
3.Cancellation and Refund:
·Any cancellation request will be addressed on a case-by-case basis, with no refunds offered but the option to reschedule for alternative dates available.
·We have no control over weather conditions, and no refunds will be made due to rainy, cold weather conditions or unexpected power outages or scheduled load shedding by Eskom.
4.Check-in and Check-out:
·Check-in 2pm and check-out 10am
·Early check-in or late check-out may be accommodated subject to availability.
·Keys will be placed in Key Safe’s and codes sent to you before your arrival.
5.Occupancy and Conduct:
·The maximum occupancy for the accommodation shall be as specified by the Owner.
·The Guest agrees to use the accommodation for lawful purposes only and to respect the rights of other occupants and neighbours.
6.Damage and Liability:
·The Guest is responsible for any damage caused to the accommodation or its contents during their stay.
·The Owner reserves the right to charge the Guest for repair or replacement costs resulting from damage caused by the Guest or their invitees.
·The Owner will not be held responsible for accidents (to the greatest extent permitted by law). It is your responsibility to supervise any children.
·Fire extinguishers are positioned in the kitchens and braai areas for use in the event of a fire.
·All vehicles parked at own risk.
·The Owners are not liable and do not accept responsibility for the loss, theft or damage of any Guest’s property.
7.Pets, Strays and Smoking:
·Pets are not allowed unless otherwise agreed upon with the Owner.
·Please do not feed the stray dogs and cats.
·Smoking is strictly prohibited within the accommodation.
8.Force Majeure:
·The Owner shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
9.Termination of Stay:
·The Owner reserves the right to terminate the Guest's stay if the Guest breaches these Terms or engages in behaviour that is disruptive or unlawful.
10.Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
·These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
11.Miscellaneous:
·These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Owner and the Guest concerning the provision of accommodation services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
·These Terms may be amended or modified only in writing and signed by both parties.
·Loadshedding and power outages are a reality in South Africa. While the Owners will attempt at all times to keep Guests informed of expected outages, they will not accept responsibility for unexpected or extended outages.
·The front gate (big wooden gate) at the entrance and the pedestrian gate to the beach must be closed at all times.
By submitting an offer of accommodation or using the Services, the Guest acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and any other policies or guidelines provided by the Owner.
